How to Donate
We are a registered charity and rely on the generosity of private donations and grant making trusts.
We exist to lessen the effect of trauma and abuse of people with learning disabilities and/or autism, their families and supporters. Respond sees beyond people's behaviour, we see each individual and their unique lived history.
Please consider becoming a regular donor and help us plan for the future of our services.
People with learning disabilities are up to five times more likely to be sexually abused than those who do not and the effects are usually devastating. Through psychotherapy, group therapy, education and training, we work with clients and professionals to facilitate recovery and healing from trauma. We are still the only organisation in the country which focuses on providing this specialist service and rely on charitable donations to sustain our work.
