Georgina Hoare takes up the role of Acting CEO today.
Georgina has fifteen years senior leadership experience in the voluntary sector and is a music therapist and psychodynamic psychotherapist, having previously provided therapy to autistic people, people with learning disabilities, mental health or forensic diagnoses in the NHS, education and voluntary sectors.
With an MA from Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust in Leading and Consulting to Organisations, psychodynamic and systemic approaches, Georgina understands how Respond’s trauma-informed therapeutic approach can transform the lives of autistic people and people with learning disabilities.
Oliver Lewis, Chair of the Board of Trustees said,
“Georgina has been an integral part of our Senior Leadership Team for two years as Organisation Effectiveness Director during which she led on developing our three-year Strategic Plan and has worked closely with staff, external stakeholders and the Board. She is ideally placed to take up the role of Acting CEO and we look forward to working with her.”
During the next six months, the Board will review the leadership structure of the charity and recruit a permanent CEO.
