My Life, My Relationship
Tackling Harmful Practices in Relationships
My Life, My Relationship supports people with learning disabilities, autism or both who may be at risk of a harmful relationship or require support to understand what a positive relationship is.
My Life, My Relationship evolved from Respond's My Life, My Marriage service established in January 2015 to raise awareness about the issue of forced marriage of people with learning disabilities. We provide training to professionals and engage with communities to promote dialogue and change.
My Life, My Relationship provides:
Indicator: Clients report they are more able to make important life decisions.
Indicators: Clients report they are choosing loving and caring relationships and that they know how an unhealthy relationship looks and feels.
Indicator: Clients identify and describe their human rights.
