Action Group

Respond has always been aware of the injustices faced by many people with learning disabilities, autism or both and we use our experience and knowledge to try and change things for the better.

The Action Group meets monthly with staff to discuss and plan current campaigns, events and social activities.

Our campaigning covers a wide range of issues including injustices in the legal system, disability hate crime, forced marriage and safeguarding.

We liaise regularly with other charities, the police and Crown Prosecution Service.
