The Respond Action Group

The Respond Action Group are Respond's Expert Advisors

Their current work is focuses on training the police force, transforming care and people getting stuck in hospital and the importance of supporting people who have experienced sexual abuse/violence to speak out. They are currently advising the Truth Project as part of the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA).

The Respond Action Group members are also passionate about stopping disability hate crime. They: train staff, speak at conferences, support research, visit schools, develop training, make films, carry out research and 'mystery shopping'.

The Respond Action Group performed ‘Making Plans for Nigel’ – a drama about mate crime – at the national Learning Disability Today conference at Olympia. You can watch the performance here:
