Alison Kahn
Secretary

Alison has been a teacher across all sectors in London, abroad and then for many years in Norfolk and has significant experience working in SEND in schools and local authorities. She was head teacher of a residential complex-needs school with a specialist ASC base. Here she worked closely with the LA at a strategic level, developing local provision for pupils with complex needs, and engaging with a wide range of professionals. Alison retired in 2018, moving back to London, and is currently a governor of two schools and also involved with a number of local charities. She has been a volunteer with Respond’s COSA project and brings a wealth of experience of working with families, young people and professionals, along with strategic management, to the board of trustees.
