Online Therapist (Survivors' Service)

Ben is a HCPC registered dramatherapist, qualifying from the Sesame course at the Central School of Speech and Drama in 1998. Since qualification he has worked as a therapist with a wide range of client groups including children and young people with learning difficulties and varying degrees of autism, young people in custody, in schools and living in care. Ben has worked with fathers and families at risk of exclusion and offending and people with mental health, drug and alcohol issues and the homeless.  He has extensive experience of working with boys and young men with varying degrees of learning and behavioural difficulties who have violent and traumatic life experiences.

Ben has worked predominantly with people who have experienced varying degrees of trauma and sees therapy as a unique and collaborative journey between client and therapist which can enable people to find voice and agency in their lives. He is also a qualified movement medicine teacher, systemic constellations facilitator and a conflict transformation expert.
