Foziha is a BACP accredited Psychotherapist, has a background in providing leadership and direction across complex environments and delivering trauma informed care. With two decades of expertise in the field of Ending Violence Against & Girls. For over ten years, she led and developed clinical services for the London based charity Women & Girls Network and more recently for London Metropolitan University.
Other professional interests include teaching and practice-based research. In 2019 she successfully completed her research, focusing on technologies and sexual violence. Has lectured and taught for the Metanoia Institute, The Open University and Chelmsford Counselling Foundation, and will be providing research supervision to doctoral students.
Her expertise includes strategic and operational development of high-quality services anchored to robust governance structures, advocating for holistic healing from trauma, and leadership through collaboration and innovation. She is committed to addressing inequalities and seeing positive change at community and systemic level.
