Hen Fuchs
Young People’s Therapist

Hen studied art psychotherapy at Beit Berl Academic College, gaining an MA in 2019. Since qualifying as an Art Psychotherapist, Hen has worked across various settings in mental health, SEN schools and The Educational Psychology Service. Her experience includes working with children and adolescents with special educational needs, including autism and ADHD, who have experienced loss and bereavement, ambiguous loss, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, trauma and those experiencing difficulties with their mental health.

She practices psychodynamic therapy using a holistic approach through various verbal and non-verbal modalities to meet the client’s needs, including solution-focused approaches for brief counselling work. Hen uses art as a healing concept and methods that encourage self-discovery, self-expression, learning, insight and growth. In addition, she firmly believes in providing culturally sensitive therapy.

Hen is registered with HCPC and BACP and is continuously learning, training, and developing her skills in order to be the best arts therapist she can be.
