The Respond Team

Oliver Gatten
COSA Coordinator

Oliver is one of our Co-ordinators of Circles Of Support and Accountability. Oliver is a qualified Drama and Movement Therapist (MA, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama) registered with the HCPC. He joined Respond in 2017, initially as a COSA volunteer, then as a therapist, before finally joining the COSA service as Co-ordinator in 2021.

Oliver has had experience working as a therapist with adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities, as well as young people with varied and complex needs. He has also worked as a therapist within the criminal justice system with incarcerated offenders and with children in PRUs, as well as in an addiction setting, working with individuals and groups. As a COSA Co-ordinator he draws on his psychodynamic and trauma-informed therapeutic approach to think creatively about the developmental and relational processes that support the delivery of COSA work with our specific client group.
