“Although it’s an overused term, I’m truly passionate about the work I do supporting adults and young people who are learning disabled, autistic  or both, and their family members.  I’ve worked with people who have complex or profound needs, with associated mental health problems for over 25 years. I’m committed to supporting people who communicate differently so I can use Makaton and BSL in my practice. My particular interest and expertise is in the space where disability, neurodiversity,  sexuality and genders meet.

I am an experienced psychotherapist, trainer, coach and group facilitator. I also provide individual and group supervision and reflective practice.”

Sonia has a PGDip in Psychosynthesis – Transpersonal Psychotherapy (University of East London), a BACP accredited diploma in Integrative and Transpersonal Supervision and is UKCP registered.
