Respond Receives Funding Boost

27th May 2020

Respond is delighted to have learned that we have been awarded funding as part of the package of support for the voluntary sector announced by the Chancellor of the Exchequer in April. The other successful charities are: The National Autistic Society, British Institute for Learning Disabilities, MENCAP, Learning Disability England, Contact and The Challenging Behaviour Foundation.

This funding is specifically to support people with learning disabilities and/or autism and their families during this COVID-19 Crisis. This will enable Respond to provide a range of interventions and resources that will support people and their families and others supporting them specifically with managing their anxiety during this traumatic time.

Respond has almost 30 years experience of supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism who have experienced trauma to be able to live their lives more fully again. Respond relies on the generosity of members of the public to do this, if you would like to contribute to supporting us please CLICK HERE TO SUPPORT RESPOND.
